Welcome to the World of The Library

The Library is a small sing-along bar located at the bar strip of Mabini Street in Malate, manila. not just any sing-along bar, The Library also provides patrons with live entertainment in a cozy, wood-paneled lounge.

This is a small bar where the music is good, the hosts (who double as the bar's lounge acts) are witty, gracious and fantastic at blending good musicality and comedy, and the food is worth the menu prices.

Among the Library's regulars, the comedy-singing group Fatluck, composed of bacci Garcia, Monica Valdez and Eva Angiko, regales Malate party animals when dark falls.

Fatluck started as part of the Raging Divas act at the Politixx Bar at nearby J. Nakpil Street, then went on to do a series of shows at the Library and Arts Avenue in Makati. They also performed in corporate shows for MEGA Magazine, Jollibee, Shangri-la Edsa Plaza, Westin Philippines Plaza Hotel, Atrium Suites in Makati and El Cielito Hotel in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Andrew de Real owns the Library and handles the bookings of Fatluck at different music lounges and hotels.

Valdez won Eat Bulaga's 1995 Super Sirena daily competition under the moniker Monica Herrera. This diva won first prize at the Tokyo Music Festival and the Search for Singing Star talent and beauty contest in Kinsho, Tokyo. Special shows at the Library are Valdez's specialities.

Garcia has been described by Valdez as an artist in his own right. He has acted in theater and appears on TV in bit roles; he also has a part in an upcoming movie starring Regine Velasquez and Robin Padilla. Also part of the Raging Divas show at the Library, he can impersonate Britney Spears and Shania Twain. garcia hosts the entertainment at the Library on Sundays.

Angiko is the longest Sing-galing titleholder on the long-running singing competition hosted by Ai-Ai de Las Alas and Allan K on ABC-5. She is a product of different amateur singing contests; Valdez calls her "a good belter". her repertiore includes One Hello and a comedy version of Oleta Adams' Get Here with Garcia.
