Graduated P. Burgos Elementary School (Sta. Mesa, Manila) (1972), Education High School-University of Santo Tomas (Espana, Manila) (1976), Faculty of Arts & Letters (Ab-Journalism) University of Santo Tomas (1980)

Started working at the General telephone Directory (GENTELDIR, INC.) in Makati after I graduated...doing office work, paper works, editing ads for the phone directory, etc.

1981-started writing for R.A.R. Publications (Teenworld and Bulaklak magazines), Graphic Arts Publications (KISLAP Magazine) and Atlas Publications (Modern Romances and True Confessions) as a freelance writer.

That time, the number one soap opera "Anna Liza" starring then child actress Julie Vega (SLN) was my beat. That's where i started writing about the stars in the soap (including my Dad-character actor Renato 'Guido' del Prado).

One of the guests in the soap, public servant Ms. Cielito del Mundo hired me to be her publicist and secretary. So, am doing her press releases for Daily Express, Manila Bulletin and other newspapers.

Since then, I have immersed myself in the writing business. In show business. And that was when i also started handling PR jobs-as personal publicist to some stars.

That included: REY 'PJ' ABELLANA (of "Anna Liza"), JULIE VEGA ("Anna Liza"), action star ACE VERGEL, recording artist REY VALERA, sexy and dramatic actor ERNIE GARCIA, actor BING DAVAO, RONALD JAYME, singer WINNIE CASTILLO, rapper FRANCIS MAGALONA, presidential daughter (then) KRIS AQUINO, the talents handled by the SPECIAL PEOPLE of talent-manager BOY C. DE GUIA (Lino Brocka (SLN), Marianne dela Riva, comedy king Dolphy, Alma Moreno, Coney Reyes, Helen Vela (SLN), Carmi Martin, William Lorenzo, Phillip Salvador, Superstar Nora Aunor, the Starbrighters), Diamond Star Maricel Soriano, Amanda Page, Julio Diaz, Rustom padilla, Carmina Villarroel, Rommel Padilla, Jessica Rodriguez, Yul Servo, Piolo Pascual, Jean Garcia, Edu Manzano and the KAPP (Katipunan ng mga Artista ng Pelikulang Pilipino) and DONNA CRUZ (for SARI-SARI STORE).

Also became a publicist for movies of SOLAR FILMS, VIVA FILMS and REGAL FILMS.

Handled PR for shows of the LIBRARY talents ("CHANNEL VICE") and AIZA SEGUERRA's and ALLAN K's "MYUSIK & LAFFTER".

Currently handling the publiciy of: actor BOJO MOLINA, comedian LENARD OBAL, newcomer DYAN DELFIN (of "CLICK"), MANILA GENESIS ENTERTAINMENT, INC. talents (GARY VALENCIANO, DONITA ROSE, CANDY PANGILINAN, MICHAEL FLORES, JAN ISAAC, PRINCESS PUNZALAN and a lot more), DINGDONG AVANZADO & JESSA ZARAGOZA, the LIBRARY sing-along bar (1779-M. Adriatico street, Malate, Manila), SEGWAY.COMedy Bar (Libis, Quezon City), and SITCOM LIVE! (Zapote-Alabang Road, Las Pinas, Metro Manila)

Received several top awards from the PMPC (Philippine Movie Press Club) writing contests in features (Tagalog) where I have been a member of good standing since 1983 and has handled positions as Secretary and Treasurer.

Currently writing for KISLAP Magazine and HOT COPY Magazine. Moonlights in other fanzines as well.

Was production assistant and part of the reportorial team of "CINEMASCOOP" (hosted by Boy C. de Guia and Lolit Solis)

Hosted "SHOWBIZ TALKIES" with fellow-writers ROD SAMSON and JUN LALIN
